Love Stories – Paula and Bunn

Paula and Bunn’s wedding is coming up in May so I thought I’d share with you some pictures from their engagement portrait session.  Rose Hill plantation was a perfect place to do the shoot since it is owned by Bunn’s family and their reception will take place there.  They brought along their dog and we had a great time.

Sunday Afternoon in The Park

We had a wonderful time at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham with the Wallace family.  It was a lovely spring afternoon and the Gardens were a bit crowded with folks enjoying the nice weather.  We were still able to find some good spots for pictures and got some great shots of Mom, Dad, the kids, and Grandma!

College Grad

We had so much fun photographing Liz at  Meredith College, where she is finishing her graduate degree.  We even broke out the fisheye lens for some fun shots!

A Day in The Life- The Carlton Family

It feels like it was just yesterday that I photographed their wedding, but since 2007  their family sure has grown!  Having just recently adding a second child (a boy!) to the family, Dan and Jennifer wanted to capture this time in their growing families history.  They asked us to come spend a few hours at their home for an “A Day In The Life”  session.

Winter Bride

Traci interned with us a few years ago and has assisted me on a few weddings.  When we found out she was getting married, we were more than happy to photograph her bridal portrait.  Her family’s farm was a perfect backdrop for her portrait.   It was a very chilly day and it even started snowing toward the end of the shoot.  We ended the session with a quick ten minutes in the snow which produced some great pictures.

All in the Family

We photographed the engagement portrait of my sister and her fiancé at our Grandparent’s old barn in Belews Creek, NC.  They were visiting from Iowa and we had a blast photographing them.  Bryan will be photographing their wedding next year (since I’ll be in it :).)  Looking forward to their wedding in May 2012!
