Amelia & Jeff / Reception / Chapel Hill, NC

We love photographing weddings at the Fearrington House and it was a great backdrop for a wedding like Amelia and Jeff’s.  Jeff is a fireman, so it was only appropriate that the couple arrived in a vintage fire truck.   Their wedding included lots of special touches, such as favors that were handmade by the groom’s sister and personal photos displayed along the entrance of the barn.  Bryan and I had so much fun photographing their big day!

Amelia & Jeff / Wedding Ceremony / Chapel Hill, NC

We had a great time photographing Amelia and Jeff’s wedding ceremony at the University Presbyterian Church, which is located on Franklin St.  After the service, we spent some time in the church’s little courtyard with the happy couple.  We got so many great shots!   I had a hard time picking which ones to share with you.

Wedding Rehearsal- Amelia & Jeff- Chapel Hill, NC

Amelia and Jeff had their wedding rehearsal at the Franklin Street landmark Top of The Hill Restaurant.  It was just a short walk from their wedding location.  Everyone had such a great time and the food was great.  Bryan and I enjoyed meeting all of the family and close friends and were glad to share that time with all of them.

Rose Hill Bride

A month before her wedding, we photographed Paula’s Bridal Portrait at Rose Hill Conference Center.  She loved the pictures, and we’ve been itching to post some of them, but had to wait for the big dress reveal at the ceremony.  Here’s some of our favorites.

Return to Chapel Hill

It was great to see Michelle again!  I’ve known her since the 5th grade, but we lost touch after high school.  A couple of Saturdays ago we reconnected in Chapel Hill and wandered around Franklin Street and UNC campus.  We had so much fun and got a lot of great shots.

Sunday Afternoon in The Park

We had a wonderful time at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham with the Wallace family.  It was a lovely spring afternoon and the Gardens were a bit crowded with folks enjoying the nice weather.  We were still able to find some good spots for pictures and got some great shots of Mom, Dad, the kids, and Grandma!

College Grad

We had so much fun photographing Liz at  Meredith College, where she is finishing her graduate degree.  We even broke out the fisheye lens for some fun shots!

Winter Bride

Traci interned with us a few years ago and has assisted me on a few weddings.  When we found out she was getting married, we were more than happy to photograph her bridal portrait.  Her family’s farm was a perfect backdrop for her portrait.   It was a very chilly day and it even started snowing toward the end of the shoot.  We ended the session with a quick ten minutes in the snow which produced some great pictures.
